Sara Anghel
President & CEO
Sara is an experienced nonprofit leader with a strong background in public affairs, government relations, and crisis communications. As President & CEO of GTHA, she champions the interests of our members, drives strategic growth, and builds strong ties with government, industry, and community partners. With deep expertise in business development, advocacy, and trade policy, Sara ensures our voice is heard and our sector remains competitive and resilient.

Jim Wielgosz
Vice President, Government & Public Affairs
Jim brings ten years of experience advising senior government officials at the federal and provincial levels, along with several years in the not-for-profit sector. At the Greater Toronto Hotel Association, Jim focuses on advocating for member interests, building relationships with government and industry, and supporting the hotel sector’s stability and growth. Known for practical problem-solving, clear communication, and a steady approach under pressure, Jim works to deliver thoughtful, effective results for members.

Kelly Harris
Director of Marketing & Stakeholder Relations
Kelly is a results-driven marketing and event professional specializing in the hospitality sector. At GTHA, she leads marketing, events, and stakeholder engagement initiatives, helping member hotels connect with key audiences, strengthen community ties, and drive business growth. With expertise in marketing strategy, sales, event management, and public speaking, Kelly ensures our association’s voice is strong, our members are supported, and our impact continues to grow.

Jenna Brown
Administrative Business Assistant
Jenna is the newest member of GTHA’s team, having recently graduated from Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, where she specialized in Management with focuses in International Business and Marketing and a minor in Economics. Jenna’s role revolves around assisting with financial and corporate compliance, coordinating and supporting GTHA events, and strengthening member and stakeholder relations.
